Since God’s design is not change from the top down, but transformation based on biblical principles from the bottom up, Christians in Public Service (CIPS) and all resources and events will be geared toward Christian leaders serving in public offices at the local level.

Christians in Public Service was founded in 2013 to reach, teach and minister to the unique needs of leaders in “touch-point capacities” that have the most immediate and hands-on impact in communities, cities and counties. Governments closest to the people.

Our primary goals are to enhance the leadership, communication and engagement skills of leaders. Helping them connect and apply timeless principles of scripture to real-time challenging, often complex issues to accomplish optimal results.

Our Organizational Philosophy

Strictly non-partisan, Christians in Public Service is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded to teach, inspire, motivate and connect. Not religious. Not political. Christ-centered public servant leadership.

Our Mission

Connecting God's word with our works so that our works reflect God's word.

Our Vision

Public servants who profess Christ, reflecting Christ in how they serve, lead and govern.

Our Core Values

  1. We believe servant leadership is a divine call to serve and not to be served.
  2. We model servant leadership, stewardship, integrity, and excellence in all that we are and do.
  3. We believe that our work is empowered by our faith at work in us.
  4. We believe that public servants are people too that need their own safe, caring and supportive forum and network where they are free to share personal and professional concerns and pray for one another.
  5. We promote relationships and work to develop friendships and a better sense of community with others of other faiths and no faith.
  6. We value each person, understanding that we all are created in the very image of God; deserving of dignity; respecting our differences and can disagree with one another but never dishonor one another.
  7. We believe that spiritually mature public servant leaders should mentor the next generation of public servants and public servant leaders.
