Illusions

Satan is the master of illusion. The greatest illusion on earth today is that it appears he is winning.
If we look at all the things happening in the world and on earth around us, from Ukraine to Uvalde, it appears this way.

Three words. Illusion. Earth. World. Jesus says in John 8:44, "He (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him."

Not holding to the truth, no truth in him -- in other words, he lies. There is no truth in him - his whole construct is lies. Lies are illusions.

David tells us in Psalm 24:1, "the earth is the LORD'S, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it..."

God came to earth as Jesus to take back what is rightly his. The earth and the world. God created the earth and gave it to the first Adam to manage. Satan tricked him out of it.

He came himself as Jesus (the second Adam) to reclaim not just the physical earth, but the world - every system that is in the earth.

Not only did Jesus (God as man, the second Adam) take the keys to the kingdom back (the earthly kingdom that Satan controlled(s)) but also his world and his earth. Satan lost it all at Calvary.

Jesus spiked the ball and did a 360 degree dunk on the devil.

Until Jesus returns the second time, Satan is still here. Creating havoc and illusions that he is still running things. He's not. The game was over at Calvary.

God left us here and keeps reproducing his image so that we can take care of His earth and His world.

Satan defeated the first Adam with an illusion. Jesus defeated him at Calvary with the truth.

And the truth is this - Satan is not winning. He can't. The only victory he knows he can get is if he can get us to repeat and replicate his lies (i.e., illusions).

Practical Application:

Act like you're a winner. Talk like a winner. Live like a winner. Walk into every meeting and room with authority. Don't repeat negatives. Don't speak negatively. Take authority over what you allow yourself to hear, see, read and say. The only way Satan can further and grow illusions (lies) is if he can get us to hear them, see them, say them and more importantly --  believe them.
