What We Do
Dallas County Tax Assessor Collector John Ames and Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson at the June 1, 2017 Power Base Seminar. District Attorney Johnson along with Lt. Gen (Ret) Rick Lynch were seminar leaders.
A premier quarterly program that brings together individuals serving in executive and management leadership roles in both the private and public sectors (government, military and corporate) for the purpose of providing professionals with superior leadership and skills development training and networking opportunities in shared learning. Seminars include gender-specific modules that are exclusively for men and women serving in executive and management positions.
Our seminar presenters include a cross section of highly respected and recognized global, state and local leaders in government, military and private industry.
CIPS NetWork! comprises elected and appointed servant leaders, culturally-engaged, politically astute Christians joining together to support CIPS in providing biblically-based resources, programming, skills and professional development opportunities for Christians serving, leading and governing at local levels – across Texas, the U.S. and around the world.
Our goal is to build a sustainable Network that hinges not on political ideology but on the inerrant, authoritative Word of God. Our rallying point is not the elephant or donkey, but the cross.
CIPS offers individual a unique opportunity to join a world-wide universe of local, state and online Christian public servant leaders and citizens who want to belong to an organization on the cutting edge of providing support, content and resource-rich programming and materials for busy public service professionals on the go.
Named in honor of one of CIPSfounding directors, the late longtime CEO of Parkland Hospital, Dr. Ron Anderson, the award is annually presented to a public servant leader exemplifying the hallmarks that defined the great doctor’s life, service, and legacy.
Dr. Anderson was anything but ordinary. He was a man of uncommon leadership, a servant leader with an unwavering commitment to help others with humility, compassion and integrity—qualities endangered in public leadership today. Dr. Ron Anderson gave four decades of his life fighting for quality health care for the poor. The renowned reputation of Parkland Health and Hospital System today as one of the leading public hospitals in the world is due in no small part to the dedication and lifetime work of Dr. Ron Anderson.
